“Sidharth is still establishing himself in the industry and it is a known fact that when he started off in Mumbai, he was living in a small apartment. However, now that he has started doing well in his career, he is thinking of buying a house for himself as well. In a casual conversation, Akshay asked him about his plans. When Sidharth spoke about a buying a small house to begin with, Akshay suggested that he think big and pick up a bigger house,” informs a common friend.
Since the Khiladi is also an outsider like Sidharth, investing in a house is a key thing that he does suggest to his near and dear ones. He believes that while it brings in an element of security, it also acts as a drive for an individual to work harder.
“He told Sid that if he is thinking of a two-bedroom flat, he should actually pick a 4BHK. If he plans to bring in his parents, he should think of something even bigger. He even suggested that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to even keep on an entire floor to himself, as a house is long-term investment and a safe one as well,” the source continues.
When Sid expressed concerns over earning enough moolah to pay off a loan on the house, AK told him that based on personal experience, only if someone thinks a few notches higher would he be able to earn more as well. “Akshay told Sidharth that ‘Tu darr mat, bas le le; agar loan lena padta hai toh woh bhi kar, par soch mat kyonki paisa aa jaayega’,” the source adds.
Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra's "Brothers" is scaling new heights at the box office. The film will soon beat the lifetime box office collection record of "Dil Dhadakne Do".
In eight-day, "Brothers" has earned Rs 74.60 crore from the domestic box office. The film is now the ninth highest Bollywood grosser of 2015 and after adding its second Saturday's box office collection, "Brothers" will become eight highest grosser.
"Brothers" need approximately Rs 2.28 crore, which will be earned on its ninth day at the box office, and along with that, the film will break Rs 76 crore mark of "Dil Dhadakne Do".
The film, directed by Karan Malhotra will dominate in its second week, as the new releases have opened to a very low response.
Meanwhile, talking about the success of the film, Sidharth said that it is encouraging that people are watching his film.
"It's an encouraging thing that so many people were eager to see the film. I must be doing something that they (masses) are liking. It's extremely encouraging and positive," he told IANS.
The action-packed family drama, which is an official remake of Hollywood film "Warriors", was released on 14 August. The film is Akshay's biggest opener and Sidharth's second biggest opener after "Ek Villain".
Produced by Dharma Productions and Fox Star, the film also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff in prominent roles.
Back in 2008, Akshay Kumar set the Indian box office on fire with Singh Is Kinng. That film introduced filmgoers to Akshay's Harpreet Singh, a guileless Sikh do-gooder who gets caught up in mafia shenanigans. It also featured Akshay rapping a duet with Snoop Dogg on the soundtrack, which amuses me to no end. This October, the film gets a sequel with Singh Is Bliing (misspelling intentional).
Singh Is Bliing is directed by Bollywood's new master of hyperbole, Prabhudeva. Prabhudeva's previous directorial efforts include Salman Khan's Wanted, Kumar's Rowdy Rathore, and Ajay Devgn's ludicrous Action Jackson. While his films have taken on a repetitive feeling, I'm a fan of Kumar's goofy charisma, and this kind of action spectacle suits him, so I'm going into Singh Is Bliing cautiously optimistic.
The new film features Kumar as Raftaar Singh, a young (?) man who must choose between leaving the nest to find a job and having an arranged marriage. He flees, and runs into trouble, as men in his situation are wont to do. The film co-stars Amy Jackson (Shankar's I) as a clothesrack, and the ineffably sinister Kay Kay Menon as a gangster who has it in for Kumar. Jackson doesn't inspire much confidence, but Kay Kay Menon is a guilty pleasure who doesn't get nearly enough work.

She teased Aamir for being a cry baby, mocked Akshay’s pajamas, killed KJo’s mojo and even took a dig at Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone! Salman Khan turns messiah again, and this time for real!
On Monday evening, Salman Khan reprised his popular role as Bajrangi Bhaijaan off screen when he united four runaway teenagers with their families. This is something the actor decided to do when he heard stories of how these kids had run away from their homes and now wanted to be reunited with their parents. Mumbai-based Antara Desai, who runs a company that helps celebrities associate with various charitable campaigns got in touch with Salman and helped him take on this cause. She says, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan has had a tremendous impact on everyone and Salman was quite keen to help these kids out. He has funded the entire initiative right from paying for the parents to come down, to making sure they have a secure future. On Monday evening, he reunited four kids from different parts of the country — who had run away — with their parents. All four were boys between the ages 11 and 16.” The actor will never stop helping others because that makes him happy and this initiative will truly help the kids!
Abs-tatic Aryan Khan takes after his father Shah Rukh Khan!
Shah Rukh Khan may be the reigning king of Bollywood but we cannot get over just how SMOKIN’ hot his son Aryan Khan has grown up to be! From being the lanky little boy who was somewhat shy of the cameras, Aryan has grown up to be quite a lady killer. Who would have thought that SRK’s eldest son would one day give him serious competition in the six-pack abs department. SRK recently shared a merge picture where both he and Aryan are shirtless and both obviously have a rocking set of washboard abs. It started a controversy of sort as to who is the reigning actress of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone or Kangana Ranaut. Rumours suggested that the curly haired babe is the one drawing nearly 11 crore. In fact, that’s what triggered off a debate on who gets paid the highest. Turns out it’s Deepika who takes home a lot of money. She gets 7 crore for every film while Kangana ranges from 6-7 crore. Alia takes the third spot with 3-4 crore followed by Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma. Yes, it is kinda strange to see Alia pocketing more than Priyanka but it seems she does!

Now how good can this get. But don’t get any funny ideas, Shah Rukh will not romance Alia but it will be all about their love. Now this is seriously the best thing that we have heard this week. …like when Ranbir Kapoor made an appearance at the end of PK or Amitabh Bachchan making various cameos in so many films! Salman Khan – Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani
Salman Khan‘s little appearance in APKGK is full of irony. The scene was filmed at the time, when he was still dating Katrina. So when you now hear Salman asking Ranbir why he is so afraid to introduce his girlfriend to him, as if he is introducing Salman’s girlfriend as his, you can’t help but smile sadly at the irony. But the scene is seriously hilarious, and Salman rocks!

Shah Rukh Khan – Luck By Chance
Zoya Akhtar’s debut film, Luck By Chance (which is easily her best work, if not her most under-rated!), has a plethora of cameos, right from Aamir Khan (who rarely does cameos), John Abraham, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Viveik Oberoi, Boman Irani, Akshaye Khanna etc. (Hrithik Roshan won’t count – it’s a starring supporting role, and a great one at that!). But the one that makes the most impact is that of King Khan, who in his 1 minute of screen-time, teaches the hero and even us, the most values lesson on friendship!

Hrithik Roshan – Don 2
Hrithik lovers, not to worry! Your favourite star also cements his position in this list with this truly surprising performance in the sequel to Farhan Akhtar’s Don. Though there were reports of Hrithik playing a role in the film, prior to its release, as the star was seen on the sets, nothing was confirmed. He appeared in very crucial scene, while doing a very subtle seductive ball-dance with Priyanka Chopra. As we wonder what’s he doing in the SRK film, he does a Mission Impossibleand takes off his mask to reveal that he is SRK. Sounds stupid on paper, but impact was there on screen!

Ranbir Kapoor – PK
PK was the highest grossing film of all time (Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan are just breathing down its neck!). Aamir Khan’s light social satire on religion and gods were loved by many, but the audience was genuinely surprised by the appearance of another heart-throb after the climax. In a hilarious turn, Ranbir Kapoor makes an appearance alongside Aamir Khan, playing a fellow alien with spot on Bhojpuri accent and wide-eyes innocence. Is PK 2 still in the making?
Akshay Kumar – Om Shanti Om
If you need proof that one man can steal an entire film with just one scene, don’t look beyond Akshay Kumar’s cameo in Om Shanti Om. His wacky appearance as a parody of his own image (I know…I know the scene isn’t exactly original!), Akshay is truly hilarious as he kills off goons by shooting from his hip! Shakira would certainly be proud! And we are eagerly waiting for The Return of The Khiladi – that’s a 300 crore Idea!

Amitabh Bachchan – English Vinglish
Gauri Shinde’s sweet little debut film marked the comeback of Sridevi, while also teaching us that love should not be judged against laguage barriers and knowledge of impeccable English. Amitabh Bachchan plays a small role in the film, whom Sridevi’s character meet on her journey to US, and who teaches her the first lessons of being bindaas and befikar.
Ranveer Singh – Finding Fanny
Ranveer Singh doesn’t have a single dialogue in Finding Fanny. He doesn’t even last a minute. Yet his infectious smile and wacky expression make his seconds-only appearance a memorable one!
Abhishek Bachchan – Hum Tum
Like his legendary father, even Abhishek Bachchan has played a lot of cameos in his career. Some, like in Salaam namaste were good, some, like in Neal N Nikki, were bad. But his best was in Hum Tum were she played Rani Mukherji’s ill-fated husband, who gave Saif Ali Khan lessons on love before he bit the dust!
